N-ARIA: Native Mobile Accessibility, part 4 of 9
Sensible Mobile Guidelines Against WCAG 2.2

WCAG 2.2 was written for the web. Much of it carries over to mobile, but not all of it, and it doesn't cover everything a phone needs.
- Where they overlap: text alternatives, contrast, names and roles, reaching everything without touch.
- WCAG outside mobile: some criteria assume a browser, a mouse pointer or pages with URLs, and fit an app awkwardly.
- Mobile outside WCAG: system text sizes far past 200%, VoiceOver and TalkBack gestures, custom actions, Switch Control and accessibility focus.
So meeting WCAG 2.2 is a floor, not the goal. The goal is an app that works with the accessibility settings people actually turn on.
